Adam + Sarah • engaged

THESE TWO! I've known Sarah and Adam for many years and was so honored when they asked me to photograph their wedding next year. Since moving to Warren, they have made such an impact in their community, including restoring their historic home in the Perkins neighborhood and opening Modern Methods Brewing Company, (bringing local beer to the city of Warren for the first time since 1880 - how cool is that?!). I love people who are so driven and passionate; I feel like that passion permeates to all aspects of their lives - especially when it comes to their relationship. Watching how in love Adam and Sarah are makes my heart SO happy.

PS: You know you're marrying the right person when she happily agrees to roll down a hill with you at the end of your engagement session... #relationshipgoals

A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum • YSU Theater

One of my favorite parts about fall is the return of the YSU Theater season! I have been shooting production photos for the Department of Theater & Dance for 7 years and I'm always amazed at the crazy amount of talent these students possess. I can't even imagine memorizing lines, songs, and dance steps on top of being a regular college student - I had a hard enough time just remembering my notes for exams! It's always so impressive, and their current production is no exception. A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum is hilarious and wildly entertaining - make some time to check it out.

Catch A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum November 18-19 at 7:30 p.m., November 20 at 2pm, December 2-3 at 7:30 p.m. and December 4 at 2 p.m. at the Ford Theater in Bliss Hall. Buy tickets here

Kellyn • senior portraits

Part two of Kellyn's senior portrait session is here! For our "softer" session (curly hair! nature! ruffles! booties!) we went to one of my all time favorite locations - the Mindy Henning Trail at the Mill Creek MetroParks Farm in Canfield. Within this hidden gem is a serene pond with cattails, grassy trails, fields of wildflowers and goldenrod, and a woody forested area.

We came here a couple years ago with Kellyn's big sister Elise:

... and now it's little sis's turn - Kellyn is all grown up and such a sweet, gorgeous girl.
